Looks too young to be off the nest!! Poor little thing. Parents are pushing them. I need to take lessons from those parents. Boot them out of the house!!

If it isn't a chipping sparrow it might be an American tree sparrow.

Tree sparrow has a dark spot on chest, 2 white wing bars, rust eye stripe, and yellow lower beak.

Chipping sparrow is more common. Black eye stripe.

believe it to be the chipping sparrow . Does it get that name from the noise it makes ? They were very loud !

good call Wishing on the chirping .
The dove has the nest on the ground right ? Is it normal for its size to not fly ? It looks big enough for seed to me.

I used to have a pair of diamond doves. Pretty little things. I was going to breed them . I had to give them up with all my others when I found out the cause of Roberts many sinus infections.

Do you see Mi. on that map? I had one. only one I seen there and it would come right to my feet in the mornings wanting breakfast. . I could stand up, go in the house for coffee refills or some seed and it would wait . I didnt know exactly what it was and wondered if it was someones pet . Mom said it was a ring neck.

The map is always changing on those guys. They are still spreading and settling in. Looks like Michigan is trying to keep them at bay. This says they have been detected there. http://www.michigan.gov/invasives/0,5664,7-324-68002_73846-368695--,00.html

The smaller mourning doves are getting pushed out by these guys.

wow, well, I only seen one in 25 odd years. The pigeons were terrible there. I remember when they released the first set of pedigrin falcons to combat them and they bred that year. Dont know if it helped or not.
I love the info you come with.
