The other day we went into a store that was a "boring mom store." I had them hold their hands together like they were praying. Every few minutes I'd tell bubba he was doing a great job, and if I forgot he'd say "mama I'm being good?"

DH and I were just talking about this exact thing. We don't want to reform him, we just want to modify his behavior. Constantly being in trouble can be demoralizing. It's just like with the puppy: redirecting attention instead of shouting "NO NO NO!" all day.

When my baby bro was this age he was like an undomesticated cave child. Mom bought him coloring books to keep in his desk that were ONLY to be used at school and only after he had finished his other work. He would fly through his assignment, get bored, and distract the other kids.

I would fly through my work, get bored, and read quietly to myself.

But 5 red faces in 10 days of school means something isn't working the way it was designed.

hi all, I did go to town this am and talked to the principle . He agreed that ripping the work up was not the right thing to do. He talked with CB and teachers and called me back . CB got credit for his work . The most important thing is they know who I am, whats up with CB as far as living with me and myself being in their face with expectations. Then I went and got food @twisted-acres-farm ate and fell asleep. LOL
Its so hot in here. back in the 90s again outside.

My California white guy who lives out at the horses...
He is about 4 months old now and I just noticed his comb flops to the side...
it doesn't stand up anymore.

Is this normal?
Or does he have "issues"
