I ordered something this week. It finally shipped the other night. Yay. Night before last it was in Bloomington, ca. Estimated delivery date...next Thursday.

So I google where Bloomington is.

It's 75 miles away from me.

75 miles.

Are they sending their packages by tortoise now?

That and it's something scandalous that I don't want hubs to see (fredricks!) soooo...

LOL - I was *so* tempted to try to make a route that would take us by Twist's motel on our journey west, but just couldn't come up with a feasible argument for why that route was better than the more direct/ faster/shorter route.

Just wanted to give a big thanks to Kiki, she sent me some fabulous clothes for my granddaughter and my yet to be born grandson. They are very nice!

My grandson will be born next wed, on sept 7.

Granny, don't know what to tell you about CB. My younger would have these painful stomach aches until I said he could stay home, and then miraculously, they would vanish and he'd be running all over the house. I figured a mental health day every so often wouldn't hurt. Now that he's older and can't afford to miss class, I tell him he has to have a fever or some bodily fluid flowing uncontrollably from an orifice to stay home. Swing by the school and get his makeup work. Plenty of time to finish it over the long weekend. He's too sick to go to school, he's to sick to go to the fire station, too, but the swap will be fine... all that fresh air is healthy!

Agreed on all counts - get the makeup work and let him do it over the weekend, since he is clearly too sick to go to the fire station and all that. I, too, had one that was notorious for being "sick", though in their defense I have had the same experience even as an adult where I felt SOOO crappy one moment, would call in sick and then find myself feeling fine just an hour or two later.
