3+ inches of rain in < an hour last night. Didn t mean to complain last nite, Twist. I did say a prayer of thanks to the Lord for the rain. I waded through the mud this am to picck okra & sweet corn. Miracle grow is store bought. I put chicken litter & horse manure oon the half of the garden im not using for fall garden in October & let it break down til i plow it in usually in Febuuary.

Did your newly planted seeds come through okay?
 
Got DH off to work, DS is sleeping in (we've been 'practicing' for school by getting back on a regular schedule this past week so today really is his Saturday, lol) and I've already got my chores done so I'm thinking it's time to be the not so grey mare -- time to wash that grey right out of my hair, lol.......
 
Seeds appearr to be buried deeply. Hope not too deep to come up. Washed the sides of the row down on the tiny buggars. Once it came a gully washer like this & turnips came up in the pasture below the garden.
