Went to town, I haven't had my trader joes fix for over a week. Needed my goodies I put in my salad that eat every day.

Went to the local fruit stand. They sell their seconds for .50 lb. got 12 dollars worth. I can eat most and what I can't the chickens get. Win,win.

I love the little Persian cucumbers they sell at TJs. Good deal on fruit stand seconds. Can't get much of anything for 50 cents these days.

CB and I went for a walk. feel some better. Its still thundering , we have more coming hen and its not nice. Took tons of pictures. CB wants to load them .

We've organized a group to build flower boxes at the assistant's house next weekend. She lost her stepdad this morning. He and her mom were visiting and he had a seizure. She performed CPR until the ambulance came but he didn't make it.

Last week I felt strongly that I should landscape for her as a surprise (she was on vacation). So we're going to spend the week collecting pallets and pooling money to get plants, soil, etc. I'll probably use today's chicken money for that.

Goodness, what a traumatic experience! Hope she and her mom are doing okay. Your plan sounds perfect.

When Konner acts like a rowdy naughty puppy, he teaches Bandit to act the same way. There are tons of online puppy training tips and youtube videos. Much easier to train a young pup than undo what an older dog has learned.
