I did put in shelf liner,York said that would help it not to be slippery.I know nothing about a bator or hatching.i've heard never too old to learn we will find that out.

the biggest thing to watch out for is chicken math ! LOL very addictive.

I bookmarked that page too ty..i have a small flashlite that is very bright.I put a paper towel cardboard roll over the lite works perfect.Egg sets on top of the roll lite shines thru..

I did the same thing. cardboard from a roll of foil.
tomorrow is day one. AKA; one day is over.
