I keep thinking about my sister, We both had the test 4 yrs. ago. I had a few pre-cancerous polyps they removed and she was clear. fast forward and again , we are both having the same test at the same time. (its supposed to be 5 yrs.) Neither one of us knew the other was having it done. This time I am clear and she has cancer. They cant even operate unless they can shrink it. You know I have to ask why. She dont even smoke.

It's partly genetics, partly diet, and partly luck. You can only control so much.

So, slight brag about my boy -- he just sat here for the last half an hour with needle and thread, stitching all the little holes in Z's various stuffed toys.  They were playing with one of them and she started tearing out the stuffing so he put it up, but she was pouting so then he's like, "Oh, don't be sad - I'll fix it for you".  He gets my sewing box and asks me to show him how - so I got him all set up and he got the toy all fixed and then was like, "Can I fix her pony too?" (her pony is this giant plush thing, like the BIG bunnies and bears you see at Easter and Valentines day- she loves the big ones, drags them around and then sleeps on them like pillows, they are her comfort item).  So, he proceeded to find and stitch every hole he could find in any of her toys - all with her sitting in front of him, very intently watching every stitch.......melted my heart!

That is such a sweet story, what a great kid.

Morning , Congrats Camping,  Looks like you came in from behind to snatch a chick. LOL I have done that .  

She didn't peck me at all. She didn't even fluff up. I set food down and that little brown head popped out! I dug around under her and didn't find more. Two fluffy chicks and one soaking wet.

a couple heavy duty large round bale feeders  and you just never know what "treasures"  you will find   Hoping for a PORTER "PROOF"  feeder.    He liked to re-arrange the old one and sort of toss it around should it not be where he wanted or filled to his desired capacity

We get tent caterpillars on the oaks some years. Maybe it''s something like that.

I got a roll of UN-opened hardware cloth for 6 bucks and then sat/walked around until the blace feeder were finally gotten to around 4 pm. Got 2 for 750.00 each more then I wanted to pay but I truly think they are Porter proof. nice heavy 2 inch oil pipe and sucker rod all welded together. I will get pic's some time this next week or 2. Get to the farm and the bobcat won't start and not a pair of jumper cables to be found. Robert and I both had a set in our trucks and there were 2 sets in the shop. We suspect Rod has Robert's in his truck which is in Lemon Sd this weekend.

I also found large round straw bales for 20.00 each

So the calves will be fine and Porter should NOT freeze his jewels.
