Same! My feet and legs were so swollen prior to labor with DD that I was wearing size 11-wide moccasins. After the induction and following c-section, 8 days later I was finally going home and couldn't wedge my giant feet into those 11-wide moccasins.

Did you have the high blood pressure too ? I gained 40 lbs with DS and lost 40. 8lb of baby and a whopping 32 lbs. of water.

Nope, all normal. I threw up every waking moment and all through the night, though. After I lost 20 lbs in the first trimester they put me on meds. Slowed it down, but didn't stop. The night I went into labor I had a huge meal at the local Mexican restaurant. I got halfway through, went and threw up, then sat back down and finished the rest.

Bubba wasn't as bad, but I was still sick a lot.

It was miserable. I burst all the blood vessels in my eyes. I had bowls in the car. I threw up in lots of parking lots and the side of the road. If my shower was too hot, if I smelled Chinese food, if I brushed my teeth, if I drank cold water... Everything. The worst was spaghetti-os. I was trying to run to the bathroom and thought I could make it. I got one foot in the door and coated the bottom half of the bathroom in spaghetti-os. Then I started crying. Then I had to call DH and make sure he stayed outside while I cleaned it all up, so he didn't puke too.

Ohh I can't even imagine. That sounds horrible.

It was surprisingly easy to get used to. And it made me really weird and quirky. Sometimes I could eat fine, but if I looked at the "leftover" food on my plate I would get sick. So I would cover all the food with napkins so I couldn't see it. I would hiccup before it happened, which was like a ticking bomb. Sometimes DH would hiccup and I'd get nauseous because my body was conditioned to it! Bodies are crazy.
