Thanks granny. Backstory: My Pops, 83, gave his farm to his son and moved in here, his RV, "man cave". I swear, if it came from an egg, he's hatched it! Emus, pea foul, rheas finches on and on.Anything I know about chickens, I learned from him. He doesn't have a lot of years left to be proud and enjoy what he's done all his life. I'd love to let him enjoy hatching here, but I'll need to learn a bit to help behind the scene. One hobby breed for him to enjoy. Anything to keep him proud and feeling useful. Sorry for babbling. I love him like a love never imagined. I dread the day he leaves me. I'm addled way worse than him for sure. Here's a pic of my pops, 83 years young.

great picture mutt..my dad also loved to hatch chicks..always trying something new..i miss him everyday..

i need some relief from this pain. its really hurting. I cant place it anywhere , even hanging off the edge of the recliner . I dont remember doing anything to it.

Mutt, what do you think about Lily ? I had her out 2 times this morning for 1/2 hr. each time . she came in and straight away peep . I try to put her outside and she wouldnt come. she hides or struggles against me to make her go out. she is very strong. how would I advertise her ? indoor /outdoor that will only pee and poop inside ?
I hate to give unpopular opinions. What I've gleaned, and it might be wrong with little info is that Lilly has learned excellent avoidance skills. IMO, she has learned to dig in and challenge you. Some dogs use teeth, some dogs find pitiful struggling works better for them. Struggling against you, demanding her desired result IMO is the same. This will likely fly in everyone's face, but any dog that defies you isn't pitiful. It's dominant over you. In my honest opinion, she has had several chances at a loving home. It's not fair to her that she is skilled at these bad behaviors, but it is what it is. I wouldn't pass her off. I'm so terribly sorry to say this. I would suck it up and take her to the pound.

because you are a trainer and around problem dogs I ask you. I welcome your advise. So you think I wont be able to train that out of her ? She is so very strong.

Its hard to get her attention and stare her down when she wont look at me. play, calling, treat. she avoids all eye contact.
