Threw out unhatched eggs. 3 were unfertile and the rest were shrink wrapped. 14 in brooder. That makes a 33 percent survival rate at 1 week. Not too good.

Morning crew. Hubs is packed off, dog and I have the house to ourselves for four days while he's working away.

Dog unfortunately has a bit of a stomach upset this weekend....will be preparing her some chicken broth and rice for dinner tonight. Poor girl. Though at least she's been sleeping the night. Didn't expect her to last night. Think hubs was upset I insisted on wearing Jammie pants to bed....well scuse me if dog NEEDS to go out at 2am I don't want to be digging for something to put on!
