Put her on the back burner, forget about her & then one day you will go out to get eggs & you will find a blue egg unexpectedly. Surprises are the best. Like mine today with my new EE layer. I did the happy dance all the way back in the house.

Yes - with the mixed breeding that goes into producing them there is the genetic possibility of blue, green or brown/cream/pinkish. That, of course, opens up a whole new can of worms as there are two basic camps when it comes to what makes an EE and EE. Camp 1 puts any bird that is produced with blue egg genetics on one side of the equation as an "EE" regardless of what color egg the actual bird lays. Camp 2 believes that an EE is any bird with blue egg laying genetics that produces a "colored" egg (blue/green) -- this camp puts birds laying brown/cream/pinkish (pink being in the brown family) in the "mixed breed" category rather than EE.

you are beautiful mutt. 24/7 whew ! it gets easier as they get older. at least a tiny bit.
You have no idea how much that means to me granny. No idea. Ya'll, all of you, face challenges way bigger than I could be strong enough to handle. So inspiring. If I can get my feet on the floor and do a little something useful that I can do, train dogs, guess I'll get up again tomorrow.

P.S. Me thinks I want to find you a dog.

Tendonitis and possible rotator cuff injury. Lots of ice packs and megs doses of ibuprofen to get the swelling down. Specific exercises to build strength back up without reinjury. And, the hardest part, I have to stop slouching!

When I pull my shoulders back, it takes the pressure off the injured part. Should start feeling better in a few weeks, if not I have to go back to see what else is wrong. Amazing, I told him how I landed when I fell, and he moved my arm a specific way and sure enough it hurt as he though it would. Several ways he knew it would hurt, so it confirmed his diagnosis. Best part was only minimal poking and prodding and all limited to my shoulder. And even better than that, I didn't have to put on one of those stupid gowns. Got to keep my shirt on!

Did he give you a brace to help retrain your posture? Dunno what you use for a computer, but bad posture or whatever they call it ergonomics? can really take a tool on neck and shoulders, especially with an injury. Just sayin...

Hi watermelon, how are you tonight?
I am pretty good. I still have a cough though. Wen't to find some tea tree oil today but Walmart didn't have it am I am not driving 30 miniutes away to get it. Thats the kind of person I am. Just gonna send the brother to go get it instead! Haven't starting paking but making a list of what I need to bring and how much of it.
I tried to train one of my teenage rabbits to start jumping over a hoop. She shure does love to jump! But she was too distracted by the rabbits in the cage next to her. I then gave up. I also bought a new pack of markers for a fundraiser. I find myself as a pretty good artist so i am doing post cards. I will admit, I got exited about getting the new markers. I still act as if I were five!
Anyway, I had lots of reading to do and can't remember a thing. So this is all i can do,
