Red, what is spinal stenosis ?  I know there is arthritis and collapsed bones back there .
Now I gotta catch up but wanted to answer this the best I can. It where all your nerves go through your spine. There's suppose to be a big enough hole to where your nerves pass through without being squashed together. But mine isn't. They went in and filled away bone to make a bigger hole. In doing this it made my bone thinner and weaker. I got worse afterwards. They aggravated a nerve and now my toes feel numb all the time.
I can't stand for any length of time without my toes going numb on my left foot with mine. When I was trying to be healthier, lose a little weight a couple of years ago I was going to a gym 3 to 4 days a week. Whenever I tried to ride one of those seated exercise bikes I would have to stop every little bit & take my shoes off and message my feet to get feeling back in them. Legs have hurt me so bad this year that walking is way more difficult. It feels like I have lead in them & they burn like crazy. My butt cheeks go numb when I sit for any length of time. I can't bend over for more than a couple minutes without being in excruciating pain. With each passing year it gets worse, very frustrating.

Crude Fiber not more than 5.0 %

Phosphorus not less than 0.6 %
Salt not less than 0.25 %

If any of you have a chest type freezer that no longer works you can repurpose them as a small grainery. make sure lid closes. Mouse and rodent proof. if you have a 10 cubic foot freezer should hold about 10 bushels. This is what I put all of my layer in when I haul it out from the elevator/feed store.
What a helluvan idea! I don't have that many chickens, but what a good deal for my horse feed! Pops can't wrestle the bags so I use metal trash cans. Bet I could keep the open bags in the chest freezer. That would be SO much easier !

have you tried Lyrica?? helps with nerve pain and the burning Robert is on that I think 300 mg 4 times a day.

Layer has calcium, right? That's why chicks and roos shouldn't eat it.
Yes layer has the added calcium, it can cause kidney failure in chicks & roosters. I feed all flock raiser & put out oyster shell free choice in a hanging container. Once in a while a roo will go check it out, but they don't normally eat it.

yeppers I just empty all the bags the same day I buy them so when feeding time comes along just lift lid and scoop what you need. Much easier then messing with open bags and easier on Robert when he helps out. Also chest freezers come in many sizes you can get what you want/need for different types of feed. 1 freezer per type paint on lid what's in there and away you go.

My back specialist has suggested it, but I take so many meds & it can have so many side effects that I have not tried it. I'm getting to the place where I won't have any choice.
