One of the pullets in the vestial virgin pen had managed to take off her chastity ring (leg band) and I am not sure which one it is. Probably the one who kept escaping and running to the Main coop/pen and trying to get in.

I got bitten by one two years ago in my bed. It took me a good month to sleep a full night again! Every little tickly thing on my body I was just sure was a scorpion.

there are 2 ways ok maybe 3. See if in about a month Porter is paying extra attention to her. OR get a head catch type gate, run her through it and then insert glove or trash bag covered arm up her back end to my shoulder and see if I or the Vet can feel anything on the otherside of the intestine. OR wait and see if she starts to grow a baby belly and then hope its a baby belly and wait for the calf.

My mother was bite by a scorpion .we lived in FL. She was a very sick girl . I would do a good sweep before i went to bed. shake the sheets out. look under the bed. those things really arent anything to mess with. BUT, are they all poison ? maybe some kinds dont sting ? I hope thats the kind you have tippy

I feel terrible. I looked at the baby chicks after washing dishes and they were all fine. I just checked on the twenty minutes later and the black sillier is laying with half his head in the watered dead. Omg. This was my favorite new baby. How did it happen. Could he have fallen asleep and his beak went in the waterer and drowned. Now I'm very worried about the rest drowning.
