Robert's kitchen is meeting central on the farm I never spend the night out there. Usually have to be back by 5 or 6 pm to watch the motel the rest of the night. Last day I had "off" was May of 2014 for nephew's graduation.

pretty much motel full time then.

Oh that stinks, if I might ask without seeming to be too nosey, ha ha what is your long term plans for the farm

I plan on retiring out at the farm but will always keep the motel.  Just hire some older couple to watch the place with the attached house included as part of their wages.  Or convert the motel to all apartments.  haven't decided yet.   Goal to be on the farm by the time I am 60.

So in about 4 to 5 years then.

nope  8 years  I am only 52.  Granny is a little older   :lau
Oh then your just a year older than I am. Poor granny, she's the elder here :lau

different time zones don't help either. I have a lot of time to think and plan.

well I hope all your hard work pays off twist. All too often something bad happens to the hard workers of this world. How long have you owned the motel & ranch? If you don't mind my asking.
