oh wishing, thank you.Granny, your picture is wonderful! I see a very happy lady with 4 adorable and very happy boys. The little one behind you has such an expression of love and joy on his face... Anyone who can inspire such a look is truly a beautiful person, and that means you.
this is the first time i have EVER put a picture of myself up anywhere. LOL I had to go steal it from my daughter. and yes i felt the same way, man, those crows feet !Granny, there is no way you can be more camera shy than me. In my entire life I think there are 3 pictures of me that I like. My son took a video of me feeding my new granddaughter. I was shocked when I saw how much I have aged.
ohmy gosh, i love crab. never had lamb before though. Is it like pork chops? the bird flu scares me too . I dont really trust the higher ups to tell the truth or even know what they are talking about. they werent mine but i had children here and that was awesomeSounds like everyone had a good Christmas. We had my dad, sister, brother, mother in law and her husband over for dinner. That's it for all the close relatives in driving distance. Sure wish there were some little ones to enjoy around the tree, but it's just us oldsters and my two boys. I will be pretty old before I'm a gramma. My boys are 13 & 16. I tell them there's no hurry, and I hope they listen. I was going to make cioppino (type of fisherman's stew) for dinner, but the stores ran out of crab. That's what I get for waiting until the day before to shop. Ended up having grilled lamb chops and scalloped potatoes instead, which was a huge hit. Everybody was stuffed.![]()
The avian virus thing is scary. Hopefully it will run it's course and fade away. We had cases of it in California a few years back. You were supposed to send in any dead birds found, particularly in the crow family. Don't recall that it ever infected chickens, but there was a park pond full of waterfowl that had problems. We have all sorts of wild birds running and flapping around in the yard, and all my chickens are exposed. We built small runs with the expectation that they would be out all day. It would be torture to lock them up. Quality over quantity of life for my birds, I guess.
