I'm gonna ditto both of you. I'm trying so hard to catch up and enjoy the day everyone had. If I take time to share my joy over a post, I get further behind. so by the time I share some love, everyone has gone to bed. Hard to imagine so many kind amazing people on one thread. 8 pages behind now.

That's great news Red, its so fun having a broody momma raise babies. This summer was the first time I had a hen to do it. Have always incubated before.

I think I've had two others to try it but they decided it was too much work and stopped after a day or two.keeping my fingers crossed. She seems to be more determined than the others. This was day three for her. Does it take 21 days for a hen to hatch them give or take a day or two?

My experience with my 2 broodys is they hatched on day 20.
