5 new baby kittens today. 3 pure white, one white with a touch of black and one white with a touch of yellow. oh why didnt i listen and get her spayed 2 months ago.

Congrats on the new arrivals - no use crying over spilt milk now, just enjoy them and find them good homes. When she is done nursing if you do have her spayed look into the ADOPT transport -- it's the prison dog program at the women's prison in town and they transport to Pets Alive spay/neuter clinic in Bloomington. Super easy, just drop off and pick up at the prison (early one morning later the next afternoon) and very affordable. The last one we sent up went while they were having a "special" and it cost us a whopping $10 for the neuter and $2 for the rabies vaccine.

Do you know where the old state hospital is - or the Veterans' cemetery? Same place - the prison occupies several of the old hospital buildings. We (my employer) used to have offices up there too, but when they expanded the prison and started installing razor wire fences right outside our windows we moved downtown, lol. This is the number that is listed on the Pets Alive page for ADOPT contact - (812) 592-0337 - if it's outdated, though, you can contact the shelter in town and they can give you the info. I think the normal price is $30 for cats (male or female) - still so much cheaper than even the most inexpensive vet in town and I was very pleased with the care they give.

nothing new to report except tons of people in and out my house all day. i had forgotten how loud babies are. glad i can just throw mine outside. no such luck with human babies, the moms dont seem to like it if its raining or what ever. we are supposed to get snow again. unbelievable

hi all !!! working hard at doing nothing. i think that should be my new motto. lost elect. for about 3 hrs and it was 40 degrees out . i covered the babies brooders with a blanket but i lost one of the phoenix. i am guessing the cold but could of been a number of thinks. all the rest are looking good but i didnt see any think wrong with that one either. i couldnt bring them in because i was busy freaking out trying to figure out how to swap moms oxygen tank. i then got everyone settled down (me) and grabbed the thermos and headed for mcdonalds. i popped that baby down and said fill-er up ! add 4 lg. and 1 small. 27 dollars. i gave her the money and she hands me a ton back. she said i gave her 57. i said well, i havent had coffee yet. they even helped me to the car with it. glad to get me gone i suspect.

you know it really is hard work, time for dinner? thats when my leg is killing me, dishes, i have a rash on my hands or i bought lemon dish soap and i am allergic to lemons. the worst one is not knowing how to do something. thats the hardest one to pull off. i can tell you guys because you dont know my family and cant rat me out.

funny, feeding even cooking for my chickens just dont seem like work to me. and by cooking ,i mean heating some wet feed up in the micro

Im building an ark, we had one Hot sunny day and weeks of rain.... of course two weeks of school holidays start tomorrow!
