I havent noticed any

I tried my best to clean out from under her several times. She just sit there and went. I cleaned it out when I seen it but it is just stuck to her. It may not be as bad as I think. I've been leaving her alone and haven't inspected her good. I'm so ready for her to hatch them she has been so determined so far. I hope she don't decide to eat them after they hatch. Does this happen much? I hope she's a good mom.

no thats not ok. she would more then likely forget them and peck the after a couple days.  If you take them (I do) you will keep them.

I was talking about after she hatches them wait two days and bring her and the chicks in long enough for me to clean her and then put her right back with them. It been cool here the last few days. If not how can I clean her butt good without soap and water.?

Red, if it was me I would just go out there with a pair of scissors & carefully trim the poppy mess from her bottom. She's getting poop stuck on it because she's pooping in the nest. Less fuzz on her bottom, less poop sticking to it. Just gave one of my girls a trim today. Much easier than washing.

The bug finally caught up to me. I don't feel good.

Been in bed all day. Stomach is uneasy if I'm upright. DH brought me mozzarella sticks and root beer. Not sure why I thought that was a good idea...

I like tea with honey and toast with butter. maybe cream of mushroom soup.

This sounds easier and she'll probably stand a less chance of getting sick.

if you feel like eating something try a couple ginger snap cookies. settle the stomach right down. if not just stay hydrated . not going to hurt you to no eat for a day or so. Hope you feel better quick.
