Not too bad thanks, had a lot of windy weather the last couple of days!! Very blustery and some squally rain to go with it.
We might get some snow by the end of the week apparently!!

Such delicate little flowers!

That's because we're all older than you!  3 of us on here.  Debbie is another name that is seldom seen outside of my generation.

Alice, Susan, Mary, Cynthia, Cheryl... just don't hear those names anymore.

I know lots of them! Most are 19-30. I even know a young Martha.

Barney, right?

Yes Barney, they have started naming most of the bigger weather fronts now. It was very gusty, 70-80 mph gusts. At one point I thought my covered runs were going to take off. Thankfully the covers are fastened down with elastic so a bit of give helped. Phew!!

That does not sound like good riding weather.

No it's not I'm afraid, Harry is not minding it though ;)
He's probably praying for wind and rain on the quiet so I keep my big backside out of the saddle!!

Y'all are so sweet for asking. :hugs

I'm alright. Head hurts, no caffeine I guess. Eating toast and rice. Lots of tea and sprite. Had a low fever this morning, but nothing since. Got a little work done in my office.

Headches, low grade fever, and nauseous ness?

Camping are you expecting?

Thanks newfie. It'd be hard not to play with them lol.

If I had a buckle for every time I said that....

Good morning folks

hate to double post, but looking for your opinions.......

not really for you northern folks, because I can see all kinds of freeze issues.

has anyone tried one of these hook to your water hose?

I know I can come up with something to keep them from sitting on or pooping in the water, was just curious about pro's and con's.

morning. I have tons of freeze but i also have a question . Wont the heat bust a hose thats on all day or make the water too hot for the chickens ?

I very rarely have it cold enough for long enough for the water to freeze in the pipes.

even with pvc pipes exposed out in the pig/goat shed.

water hose would expand and contract much better than a pipe would.

and as far as heat, it may eventually over time cause a bubble, that would be noticeable and pretty easy to remedy. Plus I have seen a few that come with a stainless steel hose.
