I have to say Red, when my DD lived there they laughed at you all for "freezing" as they had just cam from S.D.

Whole state goes into a panic and the grass is still poking up out of the snow...........that was my first experience with "snow" in the N.C.

We moved to N.C. in September/October --- the locals were all in their winter clothing and we were out on the beach playing in the water

Thats what DD said, whole state shut down. hahaa Happened to me once in GA. 3 hrs. getting home on school bus .

How old are you again? I finished up right after my 47th birthday. I didn't just flash, I rained and dripped. I could feel the heat moving from my head to my feet.

Newfie, I have a 29 year old dd that has lots of health problems & she has put on a tremendous amount of weight in the past 2 years. I am really worried about her because she is always pouring sweat off her. Not a little bit a lot. When I had to help her look for the deer she shot I thought she was going to have a heart attack. She was huffing & puffing so bad & the water just ran off of her. Her hair was totally drenched, you could ring sweat out of it. Sunday she went to a walk in clinic for a sinus infection. They were more concerned with blood pressure. Her lowest reading out of 6 was 158/102. Can someone that young have heart problems already?

That's where I'm different. Shorts and a teeshirt until it hits 40. Then jeans and a tshirt. I never wear a heavy coat. Light jackets all I need.
