Thank you guys for all of the prayers and well wishes! Granny I am sending you get well wishes! Update time: Mike of course was admitted. After xrays and CT scans he is diagnosed with a blockage..... The nurse I talked to didn't seem to know where the blockage is. So I am staying over night so I can talk to the Dr myself. He is on so much morphine he thought I was there to visit before I went to work in the morning. He is sleeping now. Talk to you folks in the morning.

Thanks for keeping us posted, you & Mike will be in my continued prayers. Praying God will guide the doctors hands and that he will have a quick recovery. Make sure you take care of yourself too enola. Hubby will be needing you when he's able to go home.

oh Enola, I am so sorry. looks like you wont be going anywhere for a while. give him all my best and please make sure you rest. one hr. in a hospital is like plowing the fields for 6.

I am ok, no worries here. would wonder the best way th remove these burs from the dog. they are close to her eyes, pulling her armpits or whatever you would call it.

Granny, be very careful removing the ones close to eyes. You may have to take her to a groomer. My daughter removes them by crushing them with plies first, then using olive oil to help them loosen up, then use a wide toothed comb. You may have to detangle some with your fingers. I read where you can also use hair conditioner.

Update! The blockage is responding to bag after bag of intravenous fluids and suppositories.... Surgery is out of the question because of his health issues. But, we may be here 3 days after the Dr thinks the blockage is cleared out. The xrays show scar tissue from a previous surgery probably caused the problem. Thanks for all of the get well wishes and prayers!

Very good news! Thanks for the update, I got on the computer specifically to check how he was doing. Make sure you are taking care of yourself as well. He might need a bit of care when you get home though, so keep healthy!
