Call me selfish, but this is the truth: Now that I see my friends moving their children and spouses, grandkids back in, paying their bills, raising grandchildren, no $$ for retirement or vacations, no empty nest to relax and enjoy the golden years...It is selfish, but I'm glad I never had children. I can't imagine trying to raise children now especially in So Ca.

Well, I'm going. It's just not going to be pleasant. I can keep my mouth shut when she starts on a tear, but it's increasingly difficult to choose to sit around in a toxic environment. We'll be there several days.
