Ol grey mare. glad i wasnt with you today. after i read your post about the chicks i tried to look in greensburg because that is the only rural king i am familiar with and didnt see any advertised.

It is going to be SO hard to resist for the next month -- only thing that will keep me strong is that I know that it just is not the right time to start chicks now.......DS and I were talking and I think we're probably going to add about 8 this year (that's the plan anyway, lol) and probably find a new home for 3 of our 4 brahma girls (keeping Gramma D since she turned out to be such a good broody on her first run at it). All I know is when I get back from Oregon I'm making a chick run - heck, maybe I'll stop on my way home from the airport, lol. I'm going out to help my sister and mom get moved to a new property - nice little mini-farm, I just might have to get them set up with some chicks of their own while I'm there. That's helping, right??
 
Tomorrow is groundhog day !! dont care if he sees his shadow or not. spring is a coming.

Anyone ever eat groundhog? I have been eating real food every day since dd got here. I had to go to drs. and i had gained one lb. husband lost 10.

I think they call it enabling but whatever works.

shoot maybe they will have something you cant find here. stick some little chicks down in a purse or something and if they start peeping just politely explain to everyone around that, airplane food is tough on the stomach and you cant help it.

Ha Ha apparently hubby doesn't like home cooked meals as well as other foods or his stress level is so high he's losing weight because of that.
