Just really hard to see, our roads are not maintained great, they pool a lot of water & there aren't many that have the stripes painted. Makes it really hard for seeing where your at on the road with oncoming traffic.

What's the temperature? I spent the bulk of the day looking up places to retire to. I'm pretty depressed. I didn't think I wanted that much, but I guess I do. I'm really sad.

Lisa, we had a good Thanksgiving, twice. And I didn't have to host either one! Woohoo! Thurs at my brother's house with my family and tonight at the in laws. Good thing I like turkey!

It was in the low 30's today, brisk wind. First morning this year that I've headed out to the coops & the ground is starting to freeze.

I worded that wrong. Twist has the hots for me I think. I get hot for hens in fishnets and stilettos. Bert loves the mumus. And granny get hot burning the forest down.

Sorry to hear that you lost a deer today Red. That's hard, here's to hoping you missed it. Glad to hear that momma & chick are doing great. Just realized tonight that my little white Silkie went broody over the holiday. What is she thinking? Its cold now, I'm not even providing a heat source for the adult Silkies & I hope not too.

thanks Lisa. It's been a terrible day since eight this morning. If I find him tomorrow the meat won't be good. It got into the seventies here today.

Thank Red, sweet dreams for you too. Still cant believe that my Little Miss Fiona is on day 2 & counting. She's gonna freeze her little buns & babies this time around I'm afraid.

Thanks. I've always wondered what it'd feel like to lose one. Now I know. It sucks something that I can't say on here because I told Sally I was going to be a good roo tonight. I've been lucky with deer falling dead in there tracks for years now. Guess I shouldn't complain.
