Okie Dokie! So I'd be fine in my bed- roll. Story: I don't do it any more, but used to ride horses across Death Valley 1st week of every November. 150 miles. 8 day ride, no electric. Tent camping. Colder than heck at night, not your temps, but low 30's sleeping in a tent. Best sleep ever. A gazillion stars. Only noise was the horses on the picket line. Better times. If you get bored, look up the mule train from the borax mines. That was our route.Ridgecrest, Trona, the Pinnacles. Talc mines Furnace Creek. Good times. Remember Charles Manson? We rode through his hideout.even with out the electric recirculation pumps running they still allow enough hot water to slowly go through the pipes which is enough to keep all the water in the rooms from freezing so no exploding toilets and drinking water pipes bursting. The rooms aren't really comfortable enough to be dressed "normally" but with winter gear on you can survive.
