Morning jane, Bert, Sally, papa, and anyone else. I was feeling achey last night so I cuddled under a blanket, drank a lot of tea, then fell asleep.

Cold this morning. I'm going to try to work on the coop a bit more today. How's everyone else?

Rest orders? What did you have?

Know it's just a little inflammation (not a torn muscle or something) helps me feel more confident doing chicken work. For instance, I probably could have hauled that hay bald yesterday with no issues. I don't have much to do: add nest box dividers and a roost, rig up a roost for the littles coop, and raise tin on the big coop a few inches. Then I'll need to add in hardware cloth and whatnot, but that won't be today, most likely. We have a camp this weekend that I also have to prepare for.

I sure will tag you! Did you see my progress so far? DH helped me with a 9-hole nest box made from a pallet. We ran out of boards because he didn't listen. So I'm trying to scrounge up enough scraps around camp to finish it.

nope I tried keepin up, I really did my best, but over the weekend yall went nuts on me, and then so did my thread and well, I got sick and went to the hospital and then just threw the white towel in

Gd and me fed & watered chockens dogs and cats. Roos cant wait to get out of pen and eat small pears that are falling off ornamental pear tree. Sun is shining after rain yesterday. Fried hotdogs and cheese toast for breakfast.
