thats ok, I can close my eyes and see it . it is beautiful. shimmers of light dancing all around like prisms bouncing from your heart when you are at your happiest. something the hope diamond will never measure up to, The hand of God at his finest.

No ice here, but we have sunshine and freezing temps. Bought a bunch of berry bushes for the camp at TSC the other day. Glad they're still sleeping on my fireplace and not out in this weather.

It's two raspberries, two blueberries, one dewberry, and two hanging strawberry systems. I'm a certified black thumb, but I'm hoping they'll produce for the kids.

Nice. I forgot about my blackberries. they actually do good in the clay. I bought 2 thorn-less and they produced tons of large very sweet berries. They were in the dog yard so I dug them up and ended up with 17 plants. still thorn-less still sweet and large.

My goofy FBMC pullet insists on digging these super deep nests on the porch to lay. She's so ridiculous. But her eggs are lovely.

One of our EE is like that - she will move straw around until she is down in the deepest pit she can create (or just burrow right into it so she's inside a cave) - yesterday I found her inside an open/half-full bag of shavings that the girls had managed to knock over inside the coop, happy as a little clam with her newly discovered nest.

Oh my gosh - you aren't kidding about the ground out here.......it is just ridiculous. I attempted a garden our first year here - haven't bothered since. I may do some sort of contained/raised or in-pot stuff this year so I can just use good ol' store bought dirt, but that's the only way to get anything to grow here.
