Getting a new range/oven today, delivered! It's the last big step (for now) in my big impromptu kitchen "remodel." When I get the cabinet handles on and a curtain on the window (and a few more things updated) then I'll post pics. :D

I'm so ready to have a working oven.

Granny did kids get beds & living room furniture moved to their new place yet? Has SIL found a shop to work out of? On a brighter note, just think by the time you get the wafers, eggs from Jessshan and get thru the 21 day incubating period the weather should be warmer were your at

Sorry not funny, I hate to wait when I want something badly, I'm just not a patient person. Maybe you will get a surprise today and they will come even though they are listed as stuck in KY.

Hello All: Just a quick check in. Busy Busy Busy around here. Carpet installer here thurs morn to do 2 rooms and 1 bathroom (with vinyl) Then have to re-load the one room. Finish the remodel on the other mainly putting stuff back up and loading furniture and or hooking up sink and re-installing the "throne". Mass this evening. Vet next Monday for Beth's second round of puppy shots. Court on Weds to evict the deadbeat/druggies/drunks in one room. Got the judge I despise has me stressing out and of course for me that means cold sores. Have 12 doz lg-exlg eggs in fridge and 5 18 packs of medium to pullets. Nothing over 5 days old hens are picking up. Beth and Noel are seeming to learn that if you paw/splash all of your water out of the pan your gonna get thirsty through out the night. I think they are trying to make a paper-mache ladder or ramp to escape the puppy pen.

Hope your wafers get there soon Granny.

Good night all...Sweet dreams and warm fuzzies

You'd have more room in the fridge if you took some eggs to court. For that judge.

Just jokin'. We don't want to have to bail you out!

LOL, I stole that and posted it to my page on fb. hahahaa listen guys, there is no need to stress , its not going to change a thing. all you are doing is wearing yourself down. what will happen , will happen. still havent been out to get the chicks, they are amerucana/ EE mix . 2nd generation. of blue eggs. wish i could tell hen from roo at 3-5 days.

"Life is what happens while you are busy making other plans." I think John Lennon said that.

A sex linked EE would be an excellent project for someone. When you see the chicks, pick ones with slender legs and the least prominent pea combs. If the combs look fat/thickpuffy down the center, I would think it's more likely male. Someone on the EE sexing thread also said to avoid very light chipmunks with dark eyeliner. In her experience those were always males.

Hope things warm up soon. How's your son doing? That's a hefty heating bill. No wood stove for you?

Yikes - absolutely would be lost without my oven. Can't wait to see pictures.

thanks for the tips. no chipmunks and skinny combs and legs. no furniture moved yet. this weather is stopping them. I agree it is better to wait on eggs for now. since everything is getting stuck in KY.
