did you try rubbing "booze" on his gums sometimes that helps if they are really bad or an ice cube wrapped in a wash cloth.

Idk I always feel sorta stupid even now when my kids come over and we have get togethers ... but its who I am and they like to make fun of me for it.  oh well someone has to be the life of the party I guess

Simple is definitely easier, would love to do that myself. You have stuff & then stuff owns you.
