LOL  that's what I should be doing is writing my Christmas letter and then doing cards.  

See if you wait long enough you won't have to do them But knowing you, you would feel so guilty that you couldn't live with yourself Someone messed you up bad Twist

Catholic  remember  we are born feeling guilty.    And I will get  them done   just happens to be my least favorite thing about Christmas.  

I was born Catholic too, but I refuse to allow guilt to run my life anymore. Both my husband & I were born Catholic, to his family's dismay we left the church for another. My parents had already left the church before I graduated high school. I know that is going to be really hard for you to understand Twist, hope you won't hold it against me. It is aa very long story, with lots of hurt & judgment & I never want to go down that road ever again. I have no ill feelings toward anyone here that is Catholic.

i get that, but it's not like you're gonna find the perfect gal around the corner. no harm in chatting. 300 miles is 5 hours. Easy.

IMO, distance is good! Vet it out. Just sayin. Hate you feel guilty. My bestie is devout Catholic. She always feels terrible about what she didn't do and doesn't see the great things she does for others every day. What's up with that?

Well. No, no hubs isn't cooking. It's been more a week for take out. We did leftovers last night but...yeah there's been some take out lol.

Of course they do! I don't think that means they would EVER want you to feel any guilt if you didn't send one this year. They were just telling you how much they enjoyed what they did get. I think as I would, they would never expect it and would feel just awful if you pressured yourself to fulfill a perceived expectation rather than you jotting down and sharing your thoughts if that gave you joy. Again, just sayin.
