I finished my table runner! I'll take a pic later. We had gift exchange with my immediate fam last night. Left at 2:15, got home at 10. Stayed up til 4, then slept til 6:30. I wanted to be on the road by 8-10, but it was noon on the dot. That's pretty standard for me. I'm feeling pretty salty about DH's contributions to the whole process, but it's not worth bringing up.


I'm already counting the things I forgot.

- sounds like you could use one (or ten) of those!

An hour from home and I just realized I did not pack one single pair of socks for myself.

AND I just realized I didn't bring my coat AGAIN. second year in a row.

I forgot Jewel's leash AND collar; as soon as I mentioned it DH dove into a TSC. He's better come back with something pink.

LOL my sister could never remember to pack any undies. EVER this would just send mom over the edge LOL why because she always bought everyone new undies before a trip. And then we get to where we are going and she would have to go buy more for my sister.

Well. Hubs is acquiring another vehicle.

Thems were the rules. If he gets any more cars, I'm getting more chickens.

That sounds like a fair exchange to me. Happy chicken hunting I just bought 2 more chickens last week. We keep a small flock so these are numbers 6 and 7 of the hens. We just have 1 Frizzle roo. I love my chickens.
