Mare, I am wanting to gut my bator and put it in a regular cooler. I am hoping that will fix the humidity issue i am having. I have the plexiglass for a window, calk, every thing I need except the container.

15 inside or outside?

inside the width or bigger is ok too

It needs to be at least 15 in. wide. the rest dont really matter . (that means I didnt measure it ) I have 2 and they are both an in. to small.

So does the inside measurement need to be 15 inches so that parts you are using will fit?

the heating element is coils protected in a wooden frame. that is attached to the bottom wire the turner sits on. I dont know these coils and dont want to mess with them. radiant heat maybe ?

well, its in stryofoam now. LOL I just want to switch it to a cooler.
