QUESTION   when will my silver lace wayandotts finally start laying a large egg ??   still mainly peewees.
mine were born around the same time. My leg horn still lays a little larger egg than my wyandottie.

Something I've always wondered - the vegan types go on and on about "living beings", but plants *are* living things -- so why is it they can/will eat one type of living thing but not bat an eye at murdering that poor carrot, ripping it out of it's home, away from it's family and chopping into it with sharp objects then tossing it into a hot pan to cook it to death???
poor poor carrots. Do they think they don't have feelings? Here's another question. If they don't eat bunnies that are killing the poor carrots , and they wake up and realize that carrots are living things, what are they going to eat then? Roadkill? As long as it's fresh and there no living insects eating the corpse Ofcouse. I'm just confused I guess. No where on the food chain does it say I should just eat dirt.

On another front the Hmong feller here yesterday ,granny said to ask $1000 for 100 birds and he handed me the money and didnt bat an eye ,hummmmm should i have asked for more LOL ?????

and no work on you end WAY COOL so your going to get white leghorns?? going to the white egg now??

I even threw in 10 extra roosters lol but they didnt get Charlie Brown thats the one that seems to have adopted Lauren

that is good never smart to anger the princess LOL I remember they butcher at your place do you provide anything like water or tables ??

The only good thing I could say about them is their eggs were a beautiful shade of pink, that looked really pretty in a basket of browns, greens, blues and white.

I never thought of the color as pink was always looking at it as a washed out pukey brown .

I am trying to find my perfect breed LOL mainly for eggs but also decent meat for the excess roo's and pretty and NOT a hybred.
