Evening everyone, spent the day digging out from last nights snow storm. Didn't end up getting the ice, but the snow had enough moisture that it was packy & heavy. Took me 5 hours of shoveling & snowblowing to get the driveways cleared, the paths cleared & 2/3 of the chicken runs shoveled. The back deck didn't get cleared. The energizer bunny was out of batteries lol. Here is a couple pics.

Mind you, we didn't have any snow at 5 pm last night grr...

I want snow.

Sorry to interject. would you all pray for Callie kitty to cross peacefully to the rainbow  bridge soon? I know it sounds awful, but she needs to let go. I have decided I don't want to put her in the carrier and take her to the vet to be put down. She would howl all the way and be scared. I don't think that is the right way for me to end her life. She doesn't seem to be in pain or I would. She is peeing in  my bed and it is making it extremely difficult  to show her love and kindness on her last days. I woke up last night to adjust the TV and felt wetness. She peed on the remote! I want her to exit as peacefully  as possible. But I can't hold it together much longer... I am a bad person.

Sorry to interject. would you all pray for Callie kitty to cross peacefully to the rainbow bridge soon? I know it sounds awful, but she needs to let go. I have decided I don't want to put her in the carrier and take her to the vet to be put down. She would howl all the way and be scared. I don't think that is the right way for me to end her life. one thing you might be able to do, is talk with your vet. He may be able to give you the syringe, if you think you can give her the shot.

On Sunday, Aoife, one of my darlings finnaly passed on. She was planned to be put down at 8 o' clock, my vet would have to come to my house to do so because the office was closed. She died on her own around 6ish next to her mate, Duggy that REFUSED to leave her side. I am so happy she went on her own because it would have killed me to put her down.

Rain, more rain, thunder storm. Managed to get hay in for the horse yesterday, thank God! Definitely great packing weather.

Now we have flash flood warnings on the phone!

I am very greatful that all this rain is not snow. It only takes 2 inches to close down this whole d@mn state!
