Well, his vet isn't returning calls or texts. This was a bottle he had left from previous chicken use. But I'm sure he'll follow up with one in the morning b

That does look like wry neck there camping, as the breed is not vaulted I would say it's a vit deficiency. Polyvisol non iron twice a day could help. Must be non iron as the birds can't pass the iron through them and in can build up in them.
I did an article on wry neck , I will dig it out for you.

I'm hoping to get a better roo for my gals. Elvis is nice, but I would like to get one that is a little better quality than he is. My other one was better quality, but he was flighty & I never trusted him not to try to pounce me.

do you think my silkie is good quality? I don't know how to tell.

I don't know enough about SQ on Silkies to tell you Red. My roo only has 4 toes on one foot & a pincher claw as a fifth on the other. Plus his comb is like exploded big with a bunch of points that they not suppose to have. Just would like to get one closer to SQ. Out of the 4 new Silkie chicks only 1 has the correct number of toes on both feet. Feathering on the feet is not good either. Q-tip & Prissy are a better quality of bird than my others so would like to get a better roo for them.
