Yes but my luck is usually bad luck lol. I'll just keep praying.Oh red don't be worried about your silkie, if they get on well together and you have them on a good diet don't panic. This is not something that happens all the time and I'm sure yours will be fine. Its not just the vaulted skull breeds that can get this its ALL breeds.
Don't worry![]()

We do care about them don't we? I never thought I'd have a chicken in the house. I took her outside again today and all the chickens tried to peck her but I didn't let them. I picked her up when they got close and she'd bury her head in my armpit. Poor little thing was scared and cold. So we came in after awhile and played on the heating blanket. She has her own little blanket so she don't mess up mine. She perches non my arm or leg and we take a nap lol.I had my babies on grounded oats until I read an article... I do the same York.We sure do and a good start to life is paramount for strong healthy adult birds. Putting good stuff into them from the start really does pay dividends in the long run. All mine start off on medicated chick crumb then onto a grower pellet when they are big enough to manage them.
Are your babies coming on well Linda? They must be big now?
I put the babies in a larger area and they blossomed over night. It's pretty amazing

That's cute red... But now I. Want to make you chicken diapers. Camping would make better ones though.... Just saying
I did but it got cold here and I didn't want her to freeze by herself. I'm trying to find another silkie to put with her and hope they get along. She has two stuffed animal chickens in with her now. Been thinking awful hard about diapers and just let her sleep with us. Guess I've lost my mind lol. Pearl thinks so anyway. They do grow so fast!! It is amazing how they blossom isn't it. Could watch them all the time, I never seem to get a lot done when I have chicks!!
Oh red she sure does sound pampered!! Have you tried putting her seperate from the others but so they can still see her but not peck at her?
