Sounds like a nummy mix. I'd go easy on the scratch. The corn is great for body heat in the winter, but it's pretty low protein. Alfalfa hay is a great source of protein and greens. It's cheap too. They LOVE the leaves. I keep a flake in the run for my hens.  
I hope you treated yourself to some pretties at Vicky's! 

I've thought about getting myself a bale of alfalfa to dole out and for the girls to enjoy...

Hubs said no. A bale would last us so long it'd attract rodents and possibly spoil.

Which okay fair enough it rains decently and yeah the chicken area floods.

Did anyone enter the big lottery?  I was going to buy a ticket, but soooo many people in line and the machine wasn't working properly.  The system must have been overwhelmed!  Stood in line for 20 minutes and only 2 people got tickets.  There were about 20 in line and I was tenth.  I figured they would have the draw before I got my ticket!  So I left without. Maybe god was trying to tell me something!  Now I have the $10 that I would have wasted!!! 

It looks like we won $7

Though hubs spent more than that on the tickets...
