I dont know anything about quail. I heard they are not hardy. something about their feet have to be on wire or they cant walk in their poop ?

They are extremly hardy and less suceptible to disease like poultry.

they are not even poultry.

They are healthier on wire IMO, I also keep a dustbath bowl in there for em and part of the wire is covered over with ply
easier on the feet

Chicks do REAL well on it, I think they feather out quicker

it's pricey tho, I think about $22 a 50 here
