I have had someone do that to me as well. nothing mods want to deal with. they also suggest you block them. I am sorry you received that.

Pretty sure I'm looking at a roo. 4 weeks old.

Hoping for a pullet.

So cute!

Love the first guy. I wish their crests would stay just like that though, instead of getting so huge. I want to be able to see their eyes.

Bummer about the pms. There are threads (at least there used to be) for people who want to discuss things like that, and we, who wish to avoid the political bickering, can.
Ignore, block, delete is my advice. Personally, I would let them know the pms are unwanted first, but that's just me. Big mouth!

Y'all, it was totally out of the blue. The question was what the initials "SS" meant, I guess when I recently posted my little roolet.

I guess I'll just let that person know that the political stuff violates the ToS and to please not write to me of things like that in the future?

The baby SS roo I'm trying to sell, just to end on a happy note. :D

He is so cute right now. Ok now I have to ask definition of SS as well. Doesn't look like a silky and single comb is SC.

But I have my breeder Nelson (the line Background) and he is not real tolerate of other cockerels.

Enola, I think you won't even know if a blocked person tries to pm you. On threads, you will not see their posts. The only way you might see them is if an unblocked person quotes them. I haven't done it, but I looked it up when someone blocked another on a thread.

bluebirdnanny, campingshaws' SS are Speckled Sussex. Pretty!

I had a meeting today at the house here that i forgot about. I was outside in my pjs when my sons worker showed up. surprised i said, I didnt know you were coming today ! (its her normal day) and she said well, guess you forgot about all the others coming too.

It took me 10 min. flat to dress, clean the table off , pick up the kitchen and catch my breath. after they got done showing me what a waste of time they are I sold one of them 4 chickens. 3 times she asked me if the rooster laid today, 2 xs i told her roosters dont lay, the 3rd time i said yup ! my 2 silkies are gone, roosters , my only ee (pink) and my only gold laced polish. I really liked her.

Yep, mine are Speckled Sussex. I guess we get so used to using a shorthand in the various threads that it's difficult for others to interpret. On Facebook the bantam raisers have their own lingo that is all kinds of complicated.

Me, I like them. It's never bothered me to ask. Maybe it's because I read crochet patterns with similar abbreviations?

I know I can't see posts from blocked members.

I have a few people blocked. No one ever pm'd me to harass me though, so that is why I had to ask.
