New subject: Pops goes Mon am for hip replacement. He's 83. He has great insurance. He's a no frills matter of fact kinda guy about the surgery. He has to go to a rehab for 3 weeks after the surgery. Well now...I remember when my mom had heart surgery and the S#!T holes medicare was going to send her to for rehab. I raised hell! Got her in a nice facility. Pops brought me a list today of 4 approved rehabs. They told him they would send him to whichever one had a bed available. Ins always tries to use the cheapest place. I researched all of them.
OMG!!! 2 on the list had horrible ratings! 1 out of 5 for inspections and sickening reviews! Oh HECK NO! Pops ain't going there! I found 2 that are rated really good. Game on! He WILL stay in the hospital until one of those 2 has an available bed. Stay tuned!
Tomorrow, I'm rehoming a service dog in training.It's so hard. I've worked with her for 15 months. she's a wonderful pup but won't retrieve. Her client is in a chair and must have retrieval. She'll go to another org for an autistic child. i've had her since she was 8 weeks old! So very hard to send her away.
So with all that goin on...ya'll won't have to put up with my ramblings for a few weeks. If I don't post, know that everything is fine. Have fun and I love you all!

Yummy!I'm back now! I bought a treat at the grocery tonight. They had crab trucked down from Oregon, so I splurged and bought a couple. Yummmmmm The crab season has been closed here in CA due to toxic algae in the water making our crabs unsafe to eat.So I have been back and forth cracking and eating my delicious crabby, and trying to post on here. And washing my hands in between!!! I am crab happy now!Saving the second one for tomorrow.
