I slept so good last night. no headache for the first night in a couple weeks. no pain at all. Then I was talking to DD and its back.

Think I will pop out for a few and take the cast off the roo. I think he is getting worse as yesterday his toes on both feet were curled . I dont know what that means but he has been bad off since the 22nd and enough . If he cant do it himself by tomorrow I will probably put him down.

No words for the incubator. I am very impressed. No need for tv when you have incu-vision right there! Now I just wish you had a working camera so you could show us how the hatch progresses. It's not any harder than copy and past once you get used to it. If I can do it....

Camping, so sad about Ben. Not a chicken dog, I guess. Glad your little pullet from the tractor survived, she's cute! Good luck with the rehoming. You and granny are having it tough with the dogs lately.

Jane, sorry to hear you lost one to that eagle. I have read some info on how to deter raptor attacks, but seems hard when they are determined.

Different tractor. The pullet was in my Frankenstein tractor. The honas are going on the a-frame.

Sorry your rooster isn't doing so good. Maybe the splints are driving him nuts? I know it takes a long time. I had a limpy hen once. She was still getting around, so I left her alone, except to help her on and off the roost. Took about 4 months to get better, and that was just for a limp!

And I still feel the same gratitude to Mare. (Maybe just a little envy too.) Yesterday sounded like a lot of fun!
