Red... sorry I'm 2 days late replying. I've been thinking so much about you. I hope you find this post. You're not the slightest bit offensive! I probably am for scolding you! I absolutely understand how you feel not being able to be the bread winner and Mr. fix all. You are a very honorable man. What I wanted you to know is that other people don't see you that way. Getting down on yourself for something you have no control over is human, but it's really preventing you from being the best you can be.
Can your dr possibly prescribe you a regular wheelchair that you can push by yourself? Anyway, I think you're awesome!

Right? If you can get him to...as long as your arms are strong enough, they are healthier than a power chair. I power chair gives you no cardio. There's tons of non profits you could look into to get a used chair too. Glad I caught you tonight. I miss mw some RED!

Checking in. Glad things seemed to be pretty skippy today. Pops came through the surgery just fine. Honestly though, after they put him in a room after recovery, not ONE person came to check on him for an hour! his heart rate dropped to 48, BP 68/40! HELLO!!! It took a few hours, but he woke up enough to be pretty coherent and his vitals stabilized. They lost his belongings too! Never sent then to the room. He NEEDS his glasses! They found em 5 hours later.
