Got 10 eggs today from 13 old enough to lay. Bsl is laying large eggs already at 7 months. Still haven t figured out who is laying a purty green egg every day.

Mutt, so glad you are there to watch out for Pops. I remember how confused my mom was after surgery. No one else thought it was important to stay after. I did, and was so glad I was there. Wouldn't want to be in the hospital without an advocate!

I am itching all over. Think it might be scaly face mites ? or as wishing said , just because he cant scratch but I did dust him because I found bugs on him a few days ago and now this.
talked to lady about Lily. she will come here for pick up tomorrow afternoon.

I didn't know they could get scaly mites on their face! Poor guy. I get itchy just thinking about mites! You know they can bite you, but they can't live on you. I worry about bringing them into the house and the caged birds getting them.

There are some pics of face mites, and it makes the skin look really thick. Does your Rooster look like that?

Well, good news for my finances. Doesn't look like I'll be going down to part time anytime soon with the temp job. They adore me...

Got an interview for a part time opportunity tomorrow. Gotta set up lappy and print out the resume.

Come home to see hubs sitting watching YouTube...so throw dinner together. After his first fajita a friend shows up to borrow tools. Sigh.

Got a guy coming tomorrow to replace the window that spontaneously busted. Feel like I'm going to spend tomorrow a fluster watching the clock in an obsessive paranoid way. Bright side, work is okay with me taking the afternoon off.

My poor pup has been battling a bladder infection. Gotta love cranberry pills she's doing much better now. Had me up every half hour Saturday night.
great about the job star! :weee

Hi all! :frow  Checking in. Glad things seemed to be pretty skippy today. Pops came through the surgery just fine. Honestly though, after they put him in a room after recovery, not ONE person came to check on him for an hour! his heart rate dropped to 48, BP 68/40! HELLO!!! It took a few hours, but he woke up enough to be pretty coherent and his vitals stabilized. They lost his belongings too! Never sent then to the room. He NEEDS his glasses! They found em 5 hours later.
Great news about the rehab center. I called his contact nurse this am and left a calm concise message that stated where he WASN'T going and why. The nicest gal came up this evening with brochures on 5 lovely places! I'll tour them tomorrow. He has great insurance that he pays a lot for! They were going to try to stick him in the cheapest places where indigents and uninsured are sent. Boy, you gotta watch em! Dirty buggars!
Dunno when I'll be back on, ya'll behave! Thanks for listening!
Glad he come through surgery good. Definetily keep an eye on em mutt.

I only found 2 pics and not good ones at that. It looks like eczema under the wing and body look ok

Sigh. Just got an email from potential other job. Something came up, trying to reschedule. Hopefully she can fit me in later enough in the day on Friday that I can just sneak out early. Oh well. Gives me time to relax getting home and do some housework before window guy comes. And gives me a bit of a buffer too in case bosses come up with last minute shenanagins.

I've started a new project...they seem surprised at my insistence on doing this lol. I'm setting them up a read-only precedent folder - full of documents they will be using but need to change on a regular basis - things like retainer agreements, certain irs correspondence etc. I kind of put my foot down and said dammit we NEED to do this after a bit of a bs morning in which technology was eluding me and I couldn't find the documents big boss man wanted and wanted right then and there. They've had issues where the documents they've used as precedents got saved over or altered when they shouldn't have been. So I said f it. Let me know what documents you want in there - find me hard copies if that's all you can find I'll work off that! And let's get it done! I've only done two documents so far - retainer agreement and a fax cover page lol but Boss Lady is pleased (and happily surprised) with my use of forms and setting up the files as read only so you can't save over them easily.

I've tried to convince them of other digital "best practices" but i think that plea has fallen on deaf ears due to the way boss man works. Hey, what he's doing works for him so...*shrug*

Joys of life in big law. You learn the data management quite quickly.

Anyway. Should head off to sleepy land soon anyway. All my peeps, hugs to y'all!
