According to SpeckeldHen, 4-6 months is when she starts seeing fertile eggs. Doing the deed and fulfilling his role are not necessarily the same thing. They can start mating sooner, but fertility is questionable.

I feel the same about catahoulas. I've never had one, but I've been fascinated with them since around 1998. I took "Louisiana history" and learned they're the state dog. They've been wedged in my brain ever since.
My next pup will be a catahoula or mix. I keep prowling through petfinder, and tonight I found a catahoula/weimaraner mix.![]()
