Same. DH made me take out a loan from the family savings account. I have to pay it back in full, plus 10% of all future profits.

well, if he takes care of you guys financially, emotionally, physically and mentally.. who am I to question. I wish my DH had enough money for me to take a loan from.

I read some of the comments, and they said it was not a seismic tsunami as first thought. Just an extra large rogue wave.

You have to get down south of Santa Cruz/Monterrey to see much difference in the mighty Pacific. The currents change and the water gets much warmer closer to Santa Barbara and south.

x2. I happily relinquished financial control YEARS ago. Now when I go out he'll say codes like "don't go crazy," "don't spend anything," or "spending freeze." It works.

I beg and plead and then Hubby asks what do you need to get and he gives it to me per the amount.. but we are tight right now with out me working so I get it. I use to be the bread winner and he was the stay at home... roles have been reversed and neither of us is dealing with it great.

This too shall pass. If I can dig up our old budget I'd be happy to pass it along. It helped us a lot our first years. Or if you follow Dave Ramsey's plan, it's excellent. What we do now is modified from a mix of the two.
