I was still in bed and heard noise on the roof, then the guineas started up. I figured a limb fell. I opened the window and they sounded like they were in the woods. I went to the back door and they sounded like they were right there. I went out and they were on the roof. I went to where they could see me (they were at tippy top of the peak) and they ran to the gutters and hollered at me. I called them but they just kept hollering. So I walked down closer to where they like to roost, and they ran along the roof and followed me. Then they passed me, up to another peak, and hollered a while before taking off and flying across the yard. They landed on the roof of the barn (on the other side of the new coop) and kept hollering.
This concludes another morning in the life of guineas.
