In unrelated (and totally trying to distract myself) news - just had a wonderful afternoon/evening -- DD and her fiance (gah, that word, lol) came down so we had a nice visit and dinner, and even sat and watched the football game (for a non sports fan such as myself, that's a big deal). DH actually took part and was social and walked away from telling them goodbye talking about what a good time it was..........the fiance is really starting to grow on me

Only thing I'm going crazy with is trying to avoid the hatching bug. All these cute chick pictures are killing me though. If I hatch right now I wouldn't have a place to go with them. I am full to the rafters at the moment. Sister in law is wanting the 4 baby silks so that will lighten the load in that coop finally. I've got a big batch of juvies that need to grow a bit yet before they are pushed over to the layers coop. When I do that I will move my SFH's, Icelandic's & Mottled Bantam Cochin to the smaller coop.

I have the casts off my roo and his legs seem stronger but both feet toes are now curled. He is thill in the sling but just enough to keep him from falling over on his side. I have been scratching his neck and face a little (rubbing) and it looks a lot better too. Me thinks the mites or lice whatever they were might have done a # on him as well as the tumble he must have took. At least thats way better then thinking of mereks

Lisa, Tom wanted me to ask you who won ?and who the red wings played . He has wanted to go to one of their games as long as I remember and as long as we lived there never did.  Was the new place  nice ?  cant spell coliseum ?? 

The wings played the Ducks. The Joe, that's what they call the arena is getting old. They are intending to build a new arena down by the New ball diamond something in the next couple of years. Did you read my post last night about our crazy evening?

well, they were supposed to tear Joe Louis arena down 15 yrs. ago and I thought the new one was built. I read all the posts but dont remember all of it. something about a car ?
