yes, I do have a fan. I calibrated one Sally and they were within 1 degree of each other . I need to know more on how much air or vent holes are needed. What wishing said yesterday about the tunnel effect makes sense to me. Its very thick walls with styrofoam in between. could be the air is getting lost in between the 2 panels ? Asked son if I could stick his cat in there to see if it could breath and he wouldnt let me.
did you calibrate the hygro????

Got my bator plugged in! @Sally Sunshine the piles of fabric are insulation to stabilize temps and block drafts.

It's been running 12 hours and temp is 99.7 with the spot check. No hygro in there yet. First egg is a week old tomorrow, so I can still wait a few days.

But the longer I wait the more eggs I can have!! The first two are 38g, wouldn't mind "losing" them... I was told the go the full 21 days, but being so small I'm having trouble believing it.

I got quail jus cause the chickens didnt start lay yet, at the time

sometimes my huge project eggs hatch before the smaller legbar love. just sayin
