Steelhead are guarded in our area. Only one a year and they have to be fished off shore but I don't know all there is to know.... Like blue crab.... Why would someone eat the shell of a crab. We don't have those here.
We have Blue Crab.

They are Delish, very sweet meat.

Only approx 17% is meat tho.

does any one else find the name of dorking for a chicken a little bizzare?? Some one is looking for a dorking breeder I thought to my self just go to Los angles or San fran on castro street

I have heard a lot of weird chicken names. Dork just being one of them. hahaa
I didnt see Red over there but we can ask Camping when / if she gets back.

Also with shrimp... We don't eat the shrimps on shore because of the algae.... Harder to fish. I think it depends on the area. Clams, both razor and other wise, crabs, gooey ducks we harvest close to shore. Trout in our lakes but the are planted...

sort of like oyster's  who ever looked at that and thought hum guess I will eat that raw.   I mean really looks like something that came out of a cow's nose when they sneezed

Oyster houses are everywhere and it's one seafood I don't eat... Can't even go to a bar without getting served an oyster shooter.
