I was going to buy some bison and it was $10.00 a lb. I thought well, I could mix it with a lb. of hamburger and have enough for burgers and talked myself out of it. It would ( I assume) taste like hamburger. LOL
no, it is very lean and some what dry. much better for you. there is a farm here with some buffalo . One escaped and traveled town. It actually went to the police station (the same one I got Sargent Murdock from) and they tranked him. They gave him too much and killed him. what a waste !
see then I would have to add fat to the bison to make it moister. I abhor over cooked beef. I like my steak rare or a little past but not medium rare that is over done a little
Pink and mooing please otherwise just get a roast and cook it. IMHO
